Sympathetic Nerve Blocks

Our sympathetic nervous system is the bodies autopilot. This diffuse network of nerves supply skin, blood vessels, and internal organs. These nerves come together as a star shaped or stellate ganglion in the neck or sympathetic chain along the lumbar spine. Nerve blocks in these regions can help aid in the diagnosis and treatment of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD) or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS).
